RULES

All food except pies must be removed from pan and placed on a paper or Styrofoam plate and covered by a resealable plastic bag.

Recipes must accompany baked goods on a 3x5 card.

Food must be made/prepared by exhibitor.

No box mixes unless otherwise specified.
-
Owner’s name should be on the bottom of returnable pie plates.

All recipes become property of the Fair

For A-11, entries MUST follow the recipe given at the bottom of this page.

Recipe for A-11
Pumpkin Bread
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tbs. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 (16 oz) can solid pack pumpkin (or fresh)
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, mix well. Combine dry ingredients, stir into creamed mixture until just moistened. Stir in pumpkin. Pour into two greased 9-in x 5-in x 3-in loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until breads test done.
