Adult Arts & Crafts

RULES

  1. The Exhibit Hall will be open to accept exhibits Wednesday, September 1, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No entries will be accepted after these hours.

  2. Exhibitor may only enter one exhibit per class.

  3. Judging will take place on Thursday evening.

  4. All exhibitors must be registered at our registration desk on the first floor of the exhibit hall or they will not be judged.

  5. An exhibitor tag must be attached securely to each entry with your name, computer number (received at registration), department number, and department class. These can be obtained from department supervisor.

  6. All exhibits must be made by the exhibitor and can not be anything previously entered in the Spencer Fair.

  7. Exhibitors must be 20 years of age or older as of January 1st of the current year.

  8. No exhibit may be removed before 6:00 p.m. and must be removed by 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Exhibitors may walk in at 6:00 p.m. or drive in after 7:00 p.m. Removal before this time will result in a loss of premium money and the right to exhibit next year. The Fair Association will not be responsible for entries left after this time.

  9. Superintendents reserve the right to reject any entries without being liable for compensation.

  10. The Spencer Fair Association will not be responsible for any loss, injury, and damage that shall occur. Only under these conditions are entries accepted.

  11. People’s Choice awards will be awarded on a daily basis. The public will vote for their favorite exhibit. See board near Superintendent’s desk for winners.

  12. You may not enter in item in the “Any Other” class if there is already a designated class for that item.

  13. All photography must be matted but may not be framed. Framed pieces will not be judged.

RULES

  1. Photo must be matted, no frame, no glass.

  2. The Fair Association is not responsible for damaged pictures

  3. Photos will be black and white or color

  4. Photos must be appropriate for a family fair

  5. Size of photo must be no smaller than 5x7 and no larger than 9x12 not including mat

  6. Size of photos for series class: each photo must be no smaller than 3x5 and no larger than 5x7 not including mat. Series should tell a story.

  7. Non-Digitally Enhanced and Digitally Enhanced Entered in Separate Classes. ANYTHING TAKEN WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA IS CONSIDERED DIGITALLY ENHANCED.
